1. Create your piece at class, leave at studio to air dry (approx 1 week). 
2. It is fired for the first time (buscuit fire) during week 2-3. 
3. Approximately 2-3 weeks after being fired I will contact you so you collect your piece and paint it at home with acrylic paints if you like or ......  Return for a glazing session (£10 for 1 hour). After this it will be glaze fired. You can take your makes home 1 week after being glazed.

• Finishing by painting with paint is refered to as a cold finish and gives a satin sheen to your makes
• Glazing can be matt or glossy and gives another layer/protective coating to a piece.
• At this present time we use earthenware clay which is low fired and not frost proof (not many clays are fully). We do make items for outside as well as other sculptures etc which are fine on outer walls or in gardens as long as all frost has passed e.g summer/autumn 

This workshop is held in my St Peters, Worcester studio Classes are small. max 3 to allow social distancing and plenty of individual attention when you need it. Using white earthenware clay I will demonstrate how: to build/sculpt a face shape using the slab method, then model autumn, winter or summer fruit, flowers, berries etc . Then cut leaf shapes adding their viens by embossing the clay. We will cut holes so these can be hung

Your creation will be left with me to be air dried then fired (1-2 weeks) I will then contact you so you can collect your creations to take home and paint or book a glaze session of 1-2 hours costing £10

The 9" hare makes a lovely home decoration or gift. Drinks and cake/buscuits included.

Using earthenware clay I will demonstrate how: to build a body shape using the slab method, model and assemble limbs, shape and attach the head then texture the hare's body to give a fur affect. We will also add a different texture to the inside of his ears.

You need to leave your creation at my studio where after 10 days air drying I will kiln fire it for you contact you so you can collect your creations to take home and paint or book a glaze session of 1-2 hours costing £10 It will then be fired for a second time. I will contact you when it is ready for collection.
