Each snowshoe hare is handmade in high fired stoneware, approximately 7 inches tall. Highly detailed with a fur texture effect and an embossed pattern inside the ears. This has been coated with a glossy aqua coloured glaze then wiped back to emphasise the texture. Whiskers are made from fine wire. The hare sits on a mound which has leaves, birds and butterflies inscribed into the clay. This is coated with underglaze then wiped back to show the details. Each is approximately 11 inches tall
